The news I've been waiting to share..

If you’re a regular subscriber to my website you know that I’ve been making my own skin products for quite a while now and love the endless possibilities! After reading my article “If It’s Not Edible, Don’t Put it on Your Skin”, many of you asked me whether you could buy some of the skincare products I make for myself. For this reason, I am finally so happy to announce the launch of my first ever cosmetic product… Nature’s Bite lip gloss.

Nature’s Bite is the perfect combination of a lip balm and a lipstick, that I use every day. Say NO to dry or chapped lips and say YES to delish, plump and naturally pink-tinted lips. HELLO, Goddess! This natural product is made out of organic beeswax, organic coconut oil, organic cocoa mass, doTerra Essential Oils, mica powder (only in the red one!) and LOTS OF LOVE. It will be available from the 26th of January (Just in time for Valentine's Day), so please PM me (WeChat ID izabella_m) if you want to buy it. The cost is 70RMB for the Natural Glow & 90RMB for the Sexy-Red Glow.

The scent of these lip-balms is a mixture of cinnamon & peppermint. Trust me, these two scents pair up very nicely! Cinnamon is a delicious flavour that when added to a lip balm creates a warming sensation that ‘plumps’ the lips. Peppermint, on the other hand, brings up freshness, increases focus and reduces sugar cravings. Another bonus is that these two oils can be ingested so you don’t have to worry about licking your lips, eating/swallowing it or kissing your partner. I added these two essential oils not only because they contain powerful antioxidants which protect your lips from damage, cold sores and other yucky things, but because they also stimulate blood flow giving your lips a nice glow. Curious about Essential Oils (EOs) and how to use them, read my previous article.

This is what people who sampled Nature’s Bite  products said about them:

In my homemade lipsticks you won't find these two toxins, which you can find in most, if not all cosmetics on the market:

  • Parabens. Linked to hormone disruption and even breast cancer.
  • Phthalates, aka Fragrance and Parfum. Linked to obesity, thyroid dysfunction, hormone disruption, and diabetes.

Now, let's talk about 2018...

I bet you have a long list of goals that you want to accomplish this year, but don’t forget to slow down life a bit and enjoy the present moment.

I ended my 2017 by truly living Law 6&7 of the Primal Blueprint and I intend to continue doing it throughout 2018.

Law 6 Play

Spend some time each week involved in active play. In addition to allowing you to apply your fitness to real-life situations, play helps dissipate some of the negative effects of the chronic stress hormones you’ve been accumulating through the week.

Law 7 Get some sunlight every day

Contrary to the “common wisdom” dispensed by dermatologists (who suggest you shun the sun), the Primal Blueprint insists that you get some direct sunlight every day. Certainly not so much that you risk burning, but definitely enough to prompt your body to make the all-important vitamin D. A slight tan is a good indicator that you have maintained adequate vitamin D levels. Natural sunlight also has a powerful mood-elevating effect, which can enhance productivity at work and in interpersonal interactions.

Still not sure if the sun is good for you, read my previous article.

Join me by truly living these laws and appreciating every single moment. Let's find what feels good and stick with it!
