The Power of Women’s Circle

One of my favourite ways to feel connected with my own soul is by gathering with female friends. The more time I spend with like-minded women, the more my heart feels open, therefore I am more able to offer a feminine nurturing presence to others.

Once upon a time, our ancestors from all cultures enjoyed gatherings around the fire. Together, they would spend time cooking, eating, sharing advice, making plans, celebrating, mourning, storytelling, and passing on wisdom to future generations. Coming together provided the space to connect, entertain, and ground themselves. Our ancestors understood that life was not meant to be lived in isolation, and they honoured the collective functioning.

Sadly, in modern society, we may struggle to find community, which leads to feeling isolated, anxious, and even depressed. Our schedules are full of tasks driven by materialistic trappings, and being too busy can be detrimental to our mental, and physical health. For this reason, now more than ever, women need a sacred sisterhood, to create a community of support, acceptance, introspection, and safety. Women's circles provide the sacred space for us to let our walls down, and let our true selves be seen and heard. When that happens, a space rooted in vulnerability and trust is created, where true connection can be formed.

The regular nurturing company of other women is essential for us to thrive, and for this reason, from June, I will be holding two women's circles a month. To anchor our feminine essence to the cycles of nature, the first one will be during the New Moon, on June 10th.

So who is the women's circle for?

It’s for all women, no matter their age, body shape, dreams, life choices, or beliefs.

Why a circle?

The circle as a symbol represents equality and strength, as well as the circular curves of a woman’s body. In the circle, we are all equal. No one is above another.

Why do we gather?

To share, to inspire, to connect, to uplift, and to be uplifted.

What topics are discussed during women’s circles?

There will be various topics throughout the year, such as dating, desire, feminine and masculine energy, boundaries, and everything in between. The first gathering will be based around the theme of self-love.

If you have any questions, or you would like to reserve your spot (max 8 people per circle), you can DM me (izabella_m). This is your place to feel held, supported, and cared for by women who truly understand you. If you have experienced women’s circles before, you know they are powerful.

My vision is to host them twice a month, so that we can have a regular space to feel nourished, supported, and held by women who understand each other.

Hope to see you on June 10th.

Also, I have another important announcement to make.

My dear friend and meditation teacher Jelena, and I, have created an online learning platform http://selfgrowthcourses.com/ that provides a compass for a more meaningful, and fulfilling human experience. Our two most popular courses are already uploaded to the platform.

Coming up, we have two more courses, one on holistic health, as well as the one everyone has been waiting and asking for – on boundaries. The two new courses will be uploaded to the platform by the end of June.

Follow us on insta @selfgrowthcourses to get insider updates on all the upcoming courses and free resources.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter on the platform, as with the subscription you will be gifted with two practical mini-lessons - one on perfectionism, and one on affirmations. Also, for my Thrive in Shanghai readers, there is 50% off any course that you purchase from our new platform. The discount is valid until 30th, July 2021.

Use code: THRIVE at checkout.

I can’t wait to see you there. And no worries, once you sign up for the course you won’t be alone as you will have access to our private Facebook group where you can share your questions, get support, and reflect on your course progress.

That’s all from me. Thank you for reading, for being here, and for spreading the word about my work so that my articles can be read by more people.

With LOVE,
Iza
